Washing instructions will be on the care tag of the individual gear you own. However, as a general rule:
- Machine wash in cold water with like colours
- Do NOT Tumble dry. hang to dry in a cool shady area away from sun
- Do not use bleach, fabric softeners or dryer sheets
- Do not iron
IN SHORT
- Avoid using your wetsuit in a chlorinated swimming pool
- Do not leave the wetsuit in the sun
- Avoid contact of the wetsuit with any abrasive or sharp material
- Rinse the wetsuit thoroughly with water after use
- Hang the wetsuit to dry on a double folded hanger (do not hang from the shoulders).
CARE OF THE WETSUIT
1. AVOID CONTACT WITH ANYTHING SHARP OR ABRASIVE
Your 2XU wetsuit is designed for open water swimming and should not be used for diving, sailing or windsurfing. The rough side of the Velcro at the top of the zip can compromise the smooth surface if not fully covered when swimming.
2. AVOID USE IN CHLORINE POOLS
Chlorine can reduce the life of the wetsuit.
3. AVOID PETROLEUM-BASED LUBRICANTS
While lubricants can be effective in reducing the risk of neck chafing, petroleum-based products can break down the neoprene, making it susceptible to tearing. Always use natural-based products.
4. ASK A FRIEND TO ZIP YOU UP
If you have limited experience getting into your wetsuit, ask a friend to help you. This will ensure that you do not damage the zip when trying to pull it up yourself. Make sure the zip is in a straight line before pulling it up, pulling the shoulders back so the fabric comes together at the back. Hold one hand down at the beginning of the zip before pulling the zip up with the other hand.
AFTER USE
1. RINSE THE WETSUIT THOROUGHLY IN WATER
Rinse your wetsuit immediately after use. A garden hose or shower works just as well.
2. AFTER RINSING, HANG ON A MOULDED HANGER INSIDE OUT TO DRY
If you turn the wetsuit inside out, it will dry faster. Hang the wetsuit outdoors, not in direct sunlight. Hang dry double folded (not by the shoulders) and store it on a flat surface when the wetsuit is completely dry to avoid changing the fit.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
1. AT THE END OF THE SEASON, CAREFULLY CHECK THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF YOUR SUIT.
Check all seams and the zip to make sure the teeth of the zip are intact and working smoothly. Check for holes caused by nails or fragile seams that may need to be repaired.
2. GET REPAIRS DONE IMMEDIATELY
Minor repairs, such as holes made by touching the neoprene with fingernails, can be easily fixed at home with neoprene glue.
3. MAJOR SEAM REPAIRS
Major seam repairs are best left to wetsuit repair experts.
4. NEVER LEAVE YOUR WETSUIT OUT IN THE SUN
UV rays from the sun and heat can break down the neoprene. Avoid leaving the wetsuit in the car, as on a hot afternoon the wetsuit can start to melt after a few hours, and the neoprene also ages prematurely.
5. BRING BACK THE FLEXIBILITY OF YOUR SUIT
When you try on your suit again after a few months, it may feel inflexible. Soak it in a bath for a few hours to restore its suppleness and then let it dry.

RETURNS AND CHANGE
During the holiday period, we have extended the return policy from November 16, 2024, until January 10, 2025. You have a 30-day right of return after the product has been received. See details on how to return a product below.
Return, change of mind and exchange rules You have the right to change your mind of your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. For you to feel secure with your purchase, we offer instead a 30-day right to return from the time you receive your order.
You as a customer have the right to try and examine the product at home. Avoid wearing perfume or deodorant that may leave marks or odours on the product when testing it. The right of return applies provided that the product is kept in unchanged condition and holds all original parts (notes, accessories, packaging, tags) as when you received your shipment. The product must be in the same condition as you received it, so it could be sold again. Note that we do not accept returns of socks and underwear for hygiene purposes. If the quality of the product has been affected as a result of you as a customer having handled it more than is necessary, we have the right to deduct the refund corresponding to the depreciation of the product.
A delivery note with return information and a return shipping label are included in the package together with your products. Fill out your details and put it in the package together with the item you are going to return and place the return shipping label on the package. Please save the return receipt that you receive from the postal agent as proof of your return. You may not tape, put stamps, put return shipping labels or the like directly on the product’s original packaging. Therefore, it is important that outer postal packaging for shipping is used. Please use the same bag in which you received the order, as it can be resealed and thus minimize the environmental impact.
If you by chance did not receive a return shipping label or return note in your package, please contact customer service and we will help you. We are not responsible if you as a customer choose not to use the return shipping label made by us when you return your package. Products returned by cash on delivery are not approved by 2xu.com.
NOTE: Keep in mind that you can only leave your return at a post office that provides POSTNORD.
Refund From the time we receive your return, it can take up to 14 working days for a refund to be issued, but we do our best to process each return as soon as we can. You will receive an email confirming that your return has been processed. The refund will be made to the same payment method you used for the original order. It generally takes between 2-5 working days until the money is refunded. If you have chosen to pay by invoice, we recommend that you pay the invoice or contact Klarna to extend the payment time, to avoid the risk of unnecessary reminder fees. Sometimes a return can be registered in different batches and it then takes up to 48 hours before your return is fully completed. In this case, you may receive two or more return confirmations.
Change of size If you want to change the size, please fill out the return note that was sent in the package together with your products, as with all returns. Please place a new order with the preferred product. If you have purchased a discounted item and wish to change sizes, please email us before placing your new order and we will assist you. We are not able to credit discounts retrospectively on existing orders.
Items purchased from another retailer are not eligible to be returned to us. These must be returned to the place of purchase.
